Building Health for All During COVID-19

Fitwel is committed to building health for all™. Providing free evidence-based tools and resources, and convening experts and implementers, is central to this vision. In order to facilitate on-going conversations and better support our Fitwel community, we are hosting webinars to tackle pressing questions and share valuable perspectives on how the real estate industry can leverage evidence-based strategies to strengthen buildings and empower people—especially in times of crisis.

April Webinar Focus: Mental Health + Tenant Engagement. Our upcoming webinar will address two pressing questions emerging around COVID-19:

1) How can we optimize our socially distanced, remote work and home environments to promote mental health?

2) How can management effectively communicate and safely engage with tenants to build confidence in this moment of uncertainty?

Joanna Frank, President & CEO of the Center for Active Design, operator of Fitwel, will lead a discussion examining the role of buildings and public spaces in shaping our mental health, and will share practical strategies to help mitigate heightened stress and anxiety. She will be joined by Renee Loveland of Gerding Edlen and Melissa Gutierrez-Sullivan of Cushman & Wakefield to highlight best practices and novel methods to engage and educate tenants on operations and safety measures—ultimately preparing tenants for a return to routine.
