How have you seen the “Social” component of ESG evolve and its importance in today’s landscape?
AL: Social responsibility affects trust, confidence, inclusion, and stakeholder engagement, but it's hard to quantify. Additionally, stakeholder expectations are shifting toward a more holistic view of ‘value’ that goes beyond short-term profit. This transition has increased the demand for transparent non-financial information like social elements. Three major social issues are businesses' priorities today.

How has Fitwel provided value to your clients?
AL: Fitwel Certification increases value for our clients by helping to attract and retain tenants, which is especially important in today's competitive leasing arena. For example, USAA has achieved Fitwel Certification on five of their properties. In 2022, when they acquired a multi-tenant building, they pursued Fitwel to help showcase the efforts they make to prioritize the building's health for not just their employees but any prospective tenant who joins them in their Charlotte building.

Our clients rely on Fitwel Certification to attract and retain the best tenants, in turn increasing asset values while contributing to our clients' GRESB and other reporting framework goals.

AL: It’s an honor to be recognized as part of Best in Building Health – it celebrates my passion for bringing healthy spaces to people and organizations. Fitwel helps Conservice's clients transparently prove they are putting people at the top of their ESG agenda.
