Creating Portfolios with Positive Impact

It took about ten years to create a consensus around the metrics defining the E in ESG, and this is currently where we stand when it comes to understanding how health factors into the S in ESG, and across the E and G.

There is a growing demand for reliable metrics that define the role of health within the ESG conversation, and we are committed to supporting the effort to reach a consensus as quickly as possible, particularly using what was learned from the environmental movement and by driving the adoption of health metrics that are based in public health data.

While consistent measuring of all aspects of ESG across various frameworks and industries is in progress, commercial properties are leading the way in reporting on their ESG metrics. We are proud to be part of numerous forward-thinking companies’ sustainability programs and support their commitment to ESG practices and creating positive change in our world. As investors have grown increasingly focused on impact investing, the real estate community has steadily expanded its efforts to demonstrate a commitment to creating portfolios that positively impact our society.

Recently, many of these leading companies have released their annual ESG reports.
