AT A GLANCE

Levi Jimenez, Founder, Viable LLC

Name: Levi Jimenez

Role: Founder, Viable, LLC

Location: Salinas, CA

Ambassador Since: February 2018

Levi Jimenez, the founder of Viable LLC, has certified over 85 million square feet of commercial green and healthy buildings to date. Levi discusses how becoming a Fitwel Ambassador has assisted his company in diversifying their service offering, as well as his motivation behind transforming the built environment into healthy places to live, work, and play.

Why did you choose to become a Fitwel Ambassador?
LJ:
I was elected to become a Fitwel Ambassador by my peers, as we began experimenting with Fitwel in 2017. Today, Fitwel aligns with Viable’s overall mission of improving the built environment where we live, work and play has always been one of our core principles.

What do you valued most about being an Ambassador?
LJ: In a time when we used to only focus on performance efficiency, Fitwel allowed us to diversify our service offering with an affordable product at scale. It allowed us the privilege of connecting people to their spaces, with a measurable depiction of how buildings lead to their wellbeing across a broad spectrum of assets, from Charlotte to San Francisco.

What has been your most memorable project to date?
LJ: Four Oaks Place in Houston, Texas, was by far our largest and most challenging project to date. It was also the property that we discovered to be the most valuable and rewarding. The campus consists of five high rise office buildings, four of which are multi-tenant and one of which is single tenant, totaling 2.3 million square feet. Aside from its sheer aesthetic beauty, the asset features a plethora of outdoor amenities, public transportation access, cafes, and the most accommodating mothers’ facilities we have seen thus far. The project team took this accomplishment very seriously and outperformed our expectations in a market that we had a healthy amount of skepticism about. The management team was also enthusiastic and committed to achieving the ownership's health and wellness goals. This award was well-deserved, and it represents a significant transformational asset in terms of occupant engagement and well-being in the Houston market.
