This update translates the latest public health research to optimize real estate assets for health and quality of life, future-proof them for climate adaptation, and maximize their value.

The Verena at Hilliard is this year’s Best in Building Health winner for achieving the Highest Scoring Senior Housing Built project. Nestled on a 58-acre expanse of land in Ohio, the community is the first Fitwel-certified senior living property in the state. The Verena stands as a testament to meticulous renovation and health-focused design, emerging as a pioneering space of innovation and wellness.

This year’s Best in Building Health winner for achieving the Highest Scoring Commercial Interior Space for its own headquarters is QuadReal Property Group, a Fitwel Champion Company who is committed to implementing Fitwel at scale. The latest version of the Fitwel Standard, v3, will launch on June 4, 2024. The Standard is a blend of familiarity and cutting-edge research, combined with a refreshed platform interface and efficiency enhancements.
