Fitwel Course: Food and Nutrition in the Built Environment Course

$50.00

In response to popular demand, we are excited to announce the release of the first Fitwel Course on Food and Nutrition in the Built Environment. This will be the first in a series of courses, which are focused on the research, trends, and innovations connecting buildings and communities with health. These Courses mark an expansion of the Fitwel Ambassador program. As we continue to grow the Ambassador and ancillary professional programs, the Fitwel Courses will become an essential piece for individuals to signify their expertise and skills.

The Food and Nutrition in the Built Environment course highlights research and case study examples on the significant role that buildings can play in supporting healthy food access and behaviors that impact mental and physical health. The course will discuss how food access and choices impact the prevalence of chronic disease, and also cover specific strategies that can be implemented to support healthy eating.

This course is accredited for 0.5 AIA/CES Learning Unit (HSW) credit.

Note: if purchasing course(s) for an individual other than the one named at checkout, or to enroll multiple individuals under the same purchase, please email us at info@fitwel.org with enrollee names before submitting payment.

It typically takes between 36-48 hours to fulfill enrollment once purchase is complete. Don’t forget to check your email inbox or spam folder for order updates — access to the online program will be provided by email.
